Privacy Policy

Introduction

Feona is operated by Wavefield LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our AI-powered deal management service at feona.ai and via SMS.

Information We Collect

  • Account information: Email address, phone number, and name when you create an account.
  • Content you share: Brand deal contracts, messages, screenshots, and other documents you send to Feona for analysis.
  • Usage data: How you interact with our service, including features used and messages exchanged.
  • Device information: Browser type, device type, and IP address for security and analytics.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve the Feona deal management service.
  • To analyze contracts and provide rate benchmarking.
  • To send you SMS messages in response to your requests (you must opt in).
  • To detect and prevent fraud and abuse.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • AI providers: We use third-party AI models to analyze contracts, classify relevant connected messages, and draft requested replies. These providers process content only to provide Feona's features; we do not permit Google or Meta user data to be used for generalized AI or machine-learning model training.
  • Service providers: Infrastructure, messaging (Twilio for SMS), and email delivery services that help us operate.
  • Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights.

SMS Messaging

When you link your phone number and opt in to SMS, we use Twilio to send and receive text messages. Message frequency varies based on your interactions. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by texting STOP. Text HELP for assistance.

Instagram and Facebook (Meta) Data

When you connect an Instagram or Facebook account, Feona uses Meta's Graph API to access:

  • Account and Page information: your Instagram/Facebook Page profile, username, and follower counts.
  • Insights and analytics: reach, views, engagement, and demographic breakdowns (age, gender, city, country) for your account and individual posts, used to power Feona's analytics dashboards and rate benchmarking.
  • Direct messages and comments: Instagram and Messenger direct messages, and comments on your posts, when you enable Feona's automated reply and comment-management features.

We use this data only to provide Feona's features to you — analytics, rate benchmarking, and the automated DM/comment replies you configure — and we do not sell it or use it for advertising. This data is retained for as long as the account stays connected, consistent with the Data Retention section below.

You can disconnect an Instagram or Facebook account at any time from Settings → Connections. Disconnecting revokes Feona's access on Meta's side and deletes the associated direct messages, comments, and analytics data tied to that account from our database. You can also review or revoke Feona's access directly from your Meta account's Business Integrations settings.

Gmail Data

When you connect a Gmail account, Feona requests the following Google OAuth scopes:

  • Read, draft, send, and organize email (gmail.modify): Feona scans for brand-deal, gifting, and collaboration email; creates drafts or sends messages only under the controls you choose; and applies current labels such as "Feona/Review," "Feona/Auto," and "Feona/Replied" or stars messages so you can see what Feona has done. Feona also uses Gmail's profile endpoint to identify the connected email address.

When Feona detects a relevant email, we store its sender, subject, and message body (text and HTML) in our database so we can classify it, surface it in your deal inbox, and let you review or act on it. We do not use the content of your Gmail messages for advertising, and we only share it with the AI providers described above, which process it solely to classify messages and draft replies on Feona's behalf.

You can disconnect Gmail at any time from Settings → Connections, which stops future inbox scanning and sending. An ordinary disconnect retains prior scans and deals as historical business records. To permanently remove the OAuth connection, watch state, retained scanned messages, classifications, and deals created from that inbox, choose Delete Google data beside the connection. You can also revoke Feona's access directly from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. You may also request assisted deletion at privacy@feona.ai.

YouTube Data

When you connect YouTube, Feona requests read-only access to your channel through youtube.readonly and to channel performance reports through yt-analytics.readonly. We access your channel identity, public statistics, videos, views, watch time, engagement, and available audience analytics to display private creator dashboards, generate performance insights, and support rate benchmarking. Feona cannot upload, edit, or delete your YouTube content with these permissions.

Feona stores the connected-account tokens and synchronized channel analytics while the connection is active. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or permit it to be used for generalized AI model training. Disconnect YouTube from Settings → Connections to stop future access. To request deletion of retained YouTube connection and analytics data, follow our Data Deletion instructionsor contact privacy@feona.ai.

Feona's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Contract documents are stored securely and access is restricted to your account.

Data Retention

We retain account data while your account is active unless a shorter feature-specific period or deletion action above applies. Ordinary disconnect preserves historical business records; the dedicated Google-data deletion action removes the Google-derived records listed above. You can request deletion of your full account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@feona.ai.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the service.
